I enjoyed the different angle that this movie took for the Marvel Universe and if it is setting up confrontations between Spider-Man, and Blade, and others then I think this is a good start. I would rather have the villain have it’s own complex journey than the villain just be a side story or afterthought to the hero story.

We've finished doing our Marvel Avengers Re-Watch series, and here is my final rankings of the MCU so far:
It's hard to rank the films at the top, as they are all good and depending on my mood at the time, they could switch places with another film. Plus, with some of these films I haven't seen them in a few months and perhaps years.
